The PaEMT.org Emergency Operations Center (EOC) is a resource to help your situational awareness of whatever is going on that affects, or could affect, emergency medical service (EMS) and/or medical transportation operations.
The general idea is to track any relevant events, create and share maps, collect and share information. It's kind of the boring stuff, but very useful when something happens. Most days at the EOC are not exciting. But if we practice our skills frequently with the boring stuff, we can be prepared to better react faster and provide better service in an emergency.
You can help. If you know of a situation, incident, a disaster in the making, even a partial story, rumor, or anything else that you think should be tracked please contact the EOC.
